Holger Danskes Vej kollegiet is located in the central part of Frederiksberg close to Aksel Møllers Have Metrostation, with good shopping facilities on Godthåbsvej and close to several schools/universities. The dorm has a total of 62 rooms, of which 4 are doublerooms. All rooms have their own kitchen niche and the singlerooms share bath/toilet with the next room. The furnished rooms are mainly rented out to foreign students. The dorm also has 3 shared kitchens as well as two common rooms for studying or other sparetime interests. There's also a communal laundry room in the basement. The dorm has it's own nice yard for parking bicycles and there's also a grill and benches/tables. There's WiFi on the premises and it's possible to connect to internet via cable in all rooms. Smoking isn't allowed anywhere indoor at the dorm - not inside the rooms either - and no pets are allowed. The buildings were an old hard candy factory back in 1885, which explains the many different shaped rooms. It's possible to move in or out on the 1st or the 15th of a month. All rooms are eligible for the rent subsidy paid by the Danish state. When you give notice you must move out 5 days before the contract ends. You pay rent during this period.
